Almudena Palacios Ibáñez holds a PhD in Design, Manufacturing, and Management of Industrial Projects from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain, earning international recognition and an outstanding grade. She completed her BsC in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development at the University of Cádiz (Puerto Real, Spain) and her MsC in the same field at UPV. During this time, she began delving into virtual reality thanks to a collaboration scholarship from the Ministry of Universities, which redirected her professional career towards that sector. After gaining some proffesional experience, she obtained a University Teaching Training Scholarship (FPU) from the Ministry of Universities to pursue her PhD. on the influence of Virtual and Mixed Reality on human perception when evaluating virtual prototypes.
